Request absentee ballots now if you will be absent from polls on November 5th

On-Island Absentee Ballot Request Deadline Is Nov 4th

Off-Island Voters 

If you will be off-island on Election Day due to work, military service, school, or other qualifying reasons, you are eligible to request an absentee ballot. This allows you to participate in the election even if you cannot physically be in American Samoa on Election Day. Be sure to submit your request before the deadline to ensure your vote is counted.


On-Island Voters

For voters who are on-island but unable to vote in person due to health issues, military assignments, or other qualifying reasons, you may also request an absentee ballot. This option ensures that even if you cannot make it to your polling place, your voice will still be heard.


On-island voters voters who are eligible to vote by absentee ballot are reminded that the deadline to request your ballot is Monday, November 4 (4:30p).


Off-island voters who are eligible to vote by absentee ballot are reminded that the deadline to request your ballot is Monday October 21.


If you are unable to vote in person on Election Day due to being off-island, military service, health issues, or other qualifying reasons, you may request an absentee ballot. Requesting an online ballot will be the fastest way to make sure your vote counts.
