On October 19th 2024, the Pula and Pulu HOPE 2024 Women’s Committee (watch video), held a Women’s Breakfast in the spirit of Love, Joy, Hope, and Prayer to cure breast cancer during October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
On this day, more than 300 women, children, and male allies gathered in song and prayer as women shared their experiences, gratitude, voice for hope, and heard from the wives of Pula and Pulu, - Dr. Lois Pula and Faletua Titilupe Pulu.

Dr. Lois Pula, started her working career in business, before later embracing a fulfilling path in nursing during her midlife. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Marymount University in Virginia. She then worked in Pediatrics at Children’s National Medical Center in DC. After several years she decided to pursue her Master of Science in Nursing while working at the Skills lab at Marymount University. She then chose to pursue her doctorate, found a program that could fully fund her doctoral degree, and 3yrs later she received her Doctorate in Health and Healing, enabling her to teach nursing in a Bachelor of Science Nursing program.

Dr. Lois Pula and Titilupe Pulu have two different backgrounds and careers, yet they both are successful.....it goes to show that whatever you pursue in life, when you give it your all with the guidance from above - you can be successful.
The success of Dr. Lois Pula is a career in nursing, and as a teacher in health and healing. Also as a mother and grandmother. A devoted Latter Day Saints member, grounded in her faith, enable her to provide a strong moral compass while providing care with integrity and a strong focus on patient advocacy.

The success of Faletua Titilupe Pulu is her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and their respective careers in life. Proverbs 31:28–29: "Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: 'Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all’.” Faletua Titilupe Pulu is a devoted Assembly of God member, enabling her to build on love, peace, and act with a humble heart.
